Brief description:
SaskPower is a utility company that has been providing electricity to the Canadian provincesince 1929. Today, it serves nearly half a million customers, and employs 2,600 permanent staff in 71 communities. It manages $4.9 billion in generation, transmission and distribution assets. The company operates three coal-fired power stations, seven hydroelectric stations, five natural gas stations and two wind facilities, which generate a total of 3,371MW of electricity.
