2Co Energy provides storage solutions for CCS projects in Europe. It also injects CO2 into oilfields in EOR operations. It has a strategic partnership with private equity investment firm TPG Capital. The company was incorporated in 2010 and is based in London. In May 2011, 2Co Energy acquired Powerfuel Plc, the company behind the Hatfield CCS project, since renamed the Don Valley Power Project. Powerfuel Plc hada gone into receivership in December 2010.
